Spanish is the official language, however there are some 22 additional indigenous languages spoken throughout the country.

Trip Summary

Medical Trip Overview
Our team of volunteers will fly to Guatemala City, Guatemala. We will focus on extending the healing ministry of Jesus Christ to under-served people by providing advanced and comprehensive, whole-person healthcare regardless of circumstance, status, or religion.

This medical mission & outreach trip will provide families with multi-day healthcare clinics that will be set up in a pre-arranged location. It will provide the most personal interaction with the people of the community by allowing volunteers to provide basic health assessments such as blood pressure checks, eye exams, nutritional and personal hygiene counseling all under the supervision of a medical doctor. Volunteers will also provide entertainment for children while parents are being assessed.

Needs: We are looking for doctors, nurses or anyone with medical experience. However, the primary skill one needs is the ability to love on people and to demonstrate God’s love through service. NO MEDICAL EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.

Building Trip Overview
This building project & outreach trip is for people that like to get dirty! We promise that. The projects range from multi-day building programs that provide new homes for people in need to providing the simplest of projects such as an indoor cooking stove for people that otherwise would cook with an open flame indoors.

This trip provides opportunities for both men and women, skilled and unskilled. If you like to end your day with muscles aching and dirt in your boots, but also enjoy seeing the smiles of a family that you have now become a part of…then these are your types of trips.

Needs: We are looking for builders, handymen, and anyone with construction experience. However, the primary skill one needs is the ability to love on people and to demonstrate God’s love through service. NO BUILDING EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.

The days will be long, but the rewards will be great when you can meet the most basic needs of an individual that needs help. If you believe you might enjoy engaging with people of different cultures and have a heart full of love to give, this trip is for you. Contact us today to get involved.

The total cost of each trip is $1,595, which includes airfare, transportation, lodging, and meals while in Guatemala. Contact us to sign up.
