Following the devastating earthquake in Haiti on January 12, 2010, the worldwide response for immediate and long-term humanitarian relief has been encouraging.
Hope Ignited is currently meeting with several ministries and organizations that have or are currently serving in country and assessing what needs are still remaining. Once these needs have been evaluated and logistics for in-country transportation have been arranged, we will be mobilizing our resources to meet the remaining need.

It is most likely that the initial trip to Haiti will be an assessment trip. These trips serve to create relationships and get a first hand assessment of the current situation and present need. These trips are difficult because much of the time is spent on the road and in meetings with many different people and organizations. However, if you are the type of person that is good with procuring materials and resources and have a heart for the people of Haiti, we would love for you to join us.
