God has given us a unique desire to live among people of other cultures. After we had independently spent several months abroad (Aaron in Guatemala and Courtney in the Dominican Republic), it became apparent that this common desire would form the foundation of our marriage and family. We expected that God would lead us to Latin America, where He would put our Spanish language skills to good use, but God must have smiled knowingly as we constructed that logical plan. Over the first ten years of our marriage, we forged a deep friendship with Rachel and Adam Jamison, and through them we learned about the story of Guinea and about God’s work through Hope Ignited. What a deep joy we have now as God leads us to join His work alongside the Jamison family, allowing us to follow the call that has been on our hearts for so long. We are ready for Him to use each of us — including our kids — to share with people in Guinea the hope that only our triune God can provide.
